Heading to Israel

I am at Logan International airport in Boston, getting ready to check in for my flight to Rome-Tel Aviv. Four members of my group should arrive here at any moment, and we plan to meet up with the other four during our connection in Rome. We’ll visit biblical sites in Israel for few days before joining the Khirbet Qeiyafa dig for two weeks.

It’s nice to be in Boston on July 4th. Pity to be stuck in the airport!
