The Jordan River

I already posted some pictorial highlights from today, but here is a little something extra.

The water was much deeper than it looked. After shooting the video, I started to wade out some more and immediately went to above-the-knee level. It certainly felt nice on a very hot day.

Luke, Just wanted you to know we are really blessed to know you and to get to share in your journey. Your rival Rick Steves should be jealous. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to see all the video footage. John says, “bring me home a real falafel. and he is touched to have such a “foodie” dedication.”
We have been looking often at your blog but forgot we could comment. Won’t forget anymore. Juju and I made a bulletin board with map and pics at church tonight. Keep sending the pics. Love that the Chandler’s are making a name for themselves. Maybe you will get invited again since you both made discoveries. The girls ooh and ahhh at the pictures too. We miss you all. Linda and John
